Our website is currently informational: you can browse our store locations, read about us, and view open positions without providing any personal information. We do not offer customer accounts, memberships, or online purchases at this time, so we do not collect account credentials, profile data, or payment information. Information We Collect
We only collect the information you choose to submit through one of our two forms. When you use our contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and the message you write. When you apply for a position through our careers pages, we collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number, desired start date, the store locations you would prefer to work at, and, for roles that require it, the resume file you upload.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not ask for or store payment card details, government identification numbers, dates of birth, or any special category data such as health or biometric information. Please do not include sensitive details of this kind in a contact message or resume, as we have no need for them.
How We Use Your Information
We use contact form submissions solely to read, respond to, and follow up on your enquiry. We use job application information solely to assess your suitability for the role you applied to, to contact you about your application, and to administer our hiring process. We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not sell it or build marketing profiles from it.
Service Providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate this website and to receive your submissions. Our website and database are hosted on Amazon Web Services, uploaded resume files are stored using Amazon Web Services storage, and contact enquiries and job applications are also recorded in Airtable so that our team can review and respond to them. These providers process your information on our behalf. Our store locator uses Google Maps to display maps and directions, which is subject to Google's own privacy policy.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Your information is accessed only by authorized Chop Chop Convenience personnel who need it to respond to your enquiry or to evaluate your application, by the service providers described above, and where we are required to disclose it by law or to protect our legal rights.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use only the cookies and local storage needed for the website to work. This includes remembering the language you have selected. We do not currently run advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this website. Third-party map content may set its own cookies when you view a store location.
Store Locator and Location Data
If you use the "find stores near me" feature, your browser will ask for your permission before sharing your location. That location is used in your browser only, to sort nearby stores by distance, and is never sent to or stored by us. You can decline the request and still browse every store location manually.
Data Retention
We keep contact enquiries for as long as needed to handle your request and to maintain a record of our correspondence. We keep job applications for as long as necessary to run the recruitment process and to meet any legal or reporting obligations, after which they are deleted. You may ask us to delete your submission sooner at any time.
Data Protection
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you submit against loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Access to submissions and to our administrative tools is limited to authorized personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices
Because we do not offer accounts, there is no profile for you to manage. You may instead contact us to request a copy of the information you submitted, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. Withdrawing your consent to the processing of a job application means we will no longer be able to consider you for that role.
